If this is the first time we are meeting, here's what you need to know about me. I am incredibly passionate and fascinated about the digestive system. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in New York City, providing nutritional counseling on digestive health. I am also a 2-time best-selling author of Healthy Gut, Flat Stomach (named one of the top 7 wellness books of 2017 by People Magazine) and The Microbiome Diet Plan. Both of these books were published in 2017. I am a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where I studied Neuroscience and the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health where I delved into the world of digestive health and the microbiome.
