All too frequently I meet someone in my private practice who comes in with a record of what they are eating, and for lack of a better word it is "perfect". A nutritionists dream! Pages of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and most of the time the person in front of me is a young woman who is thin. You might not be surprised by that.... but the story always goes something like this: "I have had digestive issues since I can remember, I cleaned up my diet to try to get things in order and it has only gotten worse".
