Low-FODMAP “Cleanse”

I don’t know about you – but even the morning after a big meal, I still have indigestion. Every Monday is a perfect day to start fresh with your diet. I am sure I am not alone on this. I am going to take Monday to reset myself with a low-FODMAP cleanse, and I invite you to join me.

Monday is the perfect day to start a diet or reset because you are starting a new week. Every new week is a chance for a new beginning. In this case, there is no pressure, because you don’t have to continue with a long-term diet (you certainly can) but this will give you a chance to start off this week on the right foot.

For the “cleanse” I am going to keep things really simple:

Breakfast:

2 egg scrambled with smoked salmon, and ½ cup cooked spinach (I will use frozen spinach and cook in the same pan, before I cook the eggs.

Snack:

2 clementine oranges

Lunch:

Romaine Lettuce with canned tuna, cucumbers, red peppers, and homemade balsamic vinaigrette.

Snack:

10 olives


Dinner:

Grilled chicken breast with side of quinoa with toasted almonds, and steamed string beans.
